Summer Camp Program

- Day programs for boys and girls ages 6-16

- 7 Open sessions (limit 12 participants/session)

- 1 Advanced session (limit 8 participants/session)

- Quality instruction in hunter seat riding

- Schooling horse show the last day of each open session with ribbons for all!

2012 Session Dates:

Open Session 1. June 26 - June 29 Open Session 2. July 2, 3, 5, 6 Open Session 3. July 10 - July 13 Open Session 4. July 17 - July 20 Adv* Session 4. July 17 - July 20 Open Session 5. August 7 - August 10 Open Session 6. August 14 - August 17 Open Session 7. August 21 - August 24

Sessions run Tuesday through Friday, 9am to 2pm.

Each camp day includes taking part in the following activities: feeding, grooming, saddling, bathing the horses, and, of course, riding! Small groups are formed with riders of similar levels and will receive an English style riding lesson each morning plus enjoy a fun ride activity, such as bareback or an obstacle course, during the afternoon. The last Friday of each Open session offers a horse show from 1-2pm complete with ribbons and prizes.


*A note about Session 4 ADVANCED (7/17 through 7/20): We have added this Special Advanced Session which is perfect for more experienced Riders. Participants will receive daily riding Instruction both on the flat and over fences, Clinics and Horsemanship Classes with both Victory Stables, Inc. trainers as well as from outside professional instructors. Participants will also have an opportunity to work with a Veterinarian, Blacksmith and Equine Massage Therapist. Learn about Nutrition, Health, Lameness, Training Techniques, Tack and Horse Showing. This session also includes an on farm schooling show Friday @ 5:00 pm. All Entry and Coaching fees are included in this session!
Fee $595.00 Space is limited to 8 Participants.


What to Bring / What to Wear:

- Boots with a heel (must cover the ankle - preferably paddock boots)
- Long pants and/or chaps
- ASTM/SEI approved riding helmet
- a lunch (snacks & drinks will be provided: i.e. make your own sundae, cookies, fruit, popsicles.)

2012 Pricing:

$425 per camper per Open session.**
$595 per camper per Advanced session.**
A $125 Non-Refundable deposit is due for each session you wish to enroll in.
All balances are due in full by June 1, 2012. Any sessions selected after June 1st must be paid for in full!


** All new campers and riders that have not ridden at Victory Stables, Inc. within the past 6 months must take at least one review/refresher lesson prior to the start of camp! This insures the most appropriate riding group, instructor, and horse assignments for your child. The cost is $45 for a half hour lesson (to be paid with your registration!) Sorry, no exceptions!
